God Bless

I would've posted this yesterday but was too busy with other things.  As we all know, the 9th anniversary of 9/11 was yesterday. A very sad time for many families.  I would just like to take a minute to have a e-moment of peace for the thousands of families lives that were ruined by this tragic day.  God Bless those who fell on that day.  I still can't believe that it was so long ago.  I was still in grade school when it happened.  Where were you on 9/11?

  1. I was still in high school actually. 10th grade social studies. Another teacher walked in and said a plane hit a building in NYC. We all laughed thinking it was like a small Cessna and the pilot was probably drunk. Then, she came in a few minutes later and said a second plane had struck. From then on, the rest of the day we were getting told everything from that it was missiles and not planes, that American fighters were shooting down passenger planes, etc. It was quite scary until I got to lunch and was able to call home and find out what was really happening.

I just remember watching Fox News like 24/7 for the next few days.
